4th Avenue Windom Street Project
GCC Ready Mix paved 4th Avenue in Windom, Minnesota with eight-inch concrete on a four-inch Class gravel base. According to ARM member Mitch Voehl, the project became possible after the city council designated 4th street as a 10-ton road and then requested equivalent design plans. It also helped that Voehl created and distributed a personalized, informative flyer to gain public support for concrete paving for the project. Click here for the 4th Avenue flyer.
